Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the preparation and consolidation of APAC financial cycles, including the Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts, and guiding measurables to facilitate the achievement of business objective.
• Working closely with the Senior Finance Director and Country Finance Managers to refine plans and forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational targets.
• Oversee the execution of operational plans against the APAC Annual Plan, with a keen focus on P&L Achievements and optimizing Working Capital/Cash Flows.
• Provide comprehensive reports on business progress vs. financial metrics, keeping the regional management abreast of key initiatives across APAC.
• Offer proactive planning and analysis/reporting to improve forecasting accuracy and empower strategic decision-making.
• Take charge of Malaysia's accounting activities, guaranteeing strict adherence to accounting policies and practices for streamlined asset and operational management.
• Lead month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline month-end processes and enhance efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. 
• Demonstrated experience with US SOX/GAAP standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders across diverse countries and organizational levels.
• Proven ability to work autonomously as a sole contributor, exhibiting strong self-motivation and initiative.
• Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and month-end closing activities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
