Job Description

A fast-growing global Defense-Tech company developing advanced hardware-based solutions for unauthorized drone detection and protection of restricted areas. The company operates globally (US, Europe, Israel & RoW), is part of a NASDAQ-listed group, and is entering its next phase of scale.

The Head of FP&A will lead the company’s financial planning and performance management processes and act as a key business partner to Sales, Operations, and executive leadership. This role focuses on forward-looking analysis, forecasting accuracy, margin optimization, and strategic insight in a global hardware-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting process and forecast (Revenue, COGS, OPEX, CAPEX )
  • Performance Analysis & Business Insights
  • Monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Budget / Forecast)
  • Product profitability and cost structure analysis
  • Identify financial risks and performance gaps earlyDevelop and maintain executive dashboards & KPIs

Sales & Deal Support

  • Partner with VP Sales on pipeline review and forecast validation
  • Analyze profitability of large tenders and complex deals
  • Support pricing strategy and commercial decisions

Operations & Cost Analysis

  • Analyze manufacturing and cost variances
  • Work closely with Operations on BOM and cost drivers
  • Support inventory impact analysis and working capital management

Executive Support

  • Prepare board and executive-level financial presentations
  • Support strategic growth and scaling initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A / Financial Planning roles
  • Experience in a technology or industrial / hardware company
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP – strong advantage)
  • Proven ability to partner with Sales and Operations
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and drive business decisions
  • Strong presentation skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a publicly traded company
  • Background in Big 4 / Consulting / Investment analysis
  • Experience in scaling companies (50M$+ revenue)
