Position Summary
The Fountain Worker is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service to guests while preparing and serving fountain beverages, ice cream treats, specialty drinks, and other food and beverage items. This position ensures the fountain and service areas are clean, organized, properly stocked, and operated in accordance with Primm Valley Casino Resorts standards, food safety regulations, and sanitation requirements.
The Fountain Worker works as part of the Food & Beverage team to deliver positive guest experience through quality products, accurate service, and a clean and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve fountain beverages, milkshakes, ice cream, desserts, and other food and beverage items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Greet guests and provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service.
- Accurately take guest orders and process cash, credit, and other forms of payment as required.
- Maintain clean and sanitary beverage dispensers, ice cream machines, counters, equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Restock cups, lids, straws, syrups, toppings, ice cream, beverages, and other supplies as needed.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and availability and notify leadership of any shortages or concerns.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
- Properly handle, store, and rotate food and beverage products.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and securing the fountain and service areas.
- Maintain an organized and guest-ready work area throughout the shift.
- Respond to guest questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner and seek assistance from a supervisor when necessary.
- Work cooperatively with Food & Beverage team members and other departments to maintain efficient service.
- Follow all Primm Valley Casino Resorts policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food service, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to provide professional and friendly guest service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work around refrigerated and varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate beverage, ice cream, and other food service equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements associated with food and beverage preparation and service.
Working Conditions

- May be exposed to hot, cold, wet, or refrigerated areas.
- May require evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Availability to adjust work hours based on evolving business needs.
