Job Description

Statement:

The Fountain Worker is an integral support to both front of the house and back of the house, ensuring a memorable and seamless guest experience. The Fountain Worker will be responsible for setting the stage for the guest experience with a welcoming smile and exceptional service. The role will provide the highest quality of Food and Beverage service in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
  • Process customer orders and payments utilizing company POS system.
  • Package order as per guest's preference with essential condiments.
  • Ensure food items are constantly stocked and properly rotated.
  • Stock products as needed.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
  • Resolve guest complaints to satisfaction and/or communicate guest issues to management.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area.
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned – Includes, but is not limited to:
  • Deliver beverages, including alcoholic options to guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of house drink selection and menu items and make recommendations to dining room guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of food menu and selection to make recommendations to “Take Out” guests

Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to competently use a Point-of-Sale register

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1 year of experience in field or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year as a cashier or previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced Luxury environment.

Preferred

  • Previous working experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Position required licenses:
    • Food handlers
    • Alcohol awareness card
    • Non-Gaming Sheriff card
