About the job

In this role you will interface with teams on foundry tape-outs and wafer processing, as well as support the development of foundry microfabrication processes needed to support our quantum processor roadmap. You will collaborate closely with fabrication teams to identify new process capabilities and support development from concept through integration. Additionally, you will collaborate with designers on tape-outs and support design and layout integration with processors. You will also support existing foundry processes, including maintaining documentation, performing analysis of inline fabrication and e-test data, and driving yield improvement.

The full potential of quantum computing will be unlocked with a large-scale computer capable of complex, error-corrected computations. Google Quantum AI's mission is to build this computer and unlock solutions to classically intractable problems. Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
