Job Description

Job Title: FOUNDRY GRILL BUSSER

Rate of Pay: $3.00/Hour + tips

Shift: Monday through Sunday, Variable AM and PM shifts

Part Time, Year Round Positions

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Warmly greet each guest.
  • Ensure dining room is set and ready for service to the Sundance standard.
  • Deliver water (bottled or tap) to guests and refill glasses as needed.
  • Assist in the service and clearing of food as directed by the server.
  • Ensure proper sequence of service for all guests.
  • Reset tables within two minutes of the guest's departure.
  • Be motivated to stay productive, helpful, and impactful to the guest experience in a positive manner.
  • Stock service stations and buss trays.
  • Buff silverware and glasses.
  • Exhibit job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and resort information.
  • Exhibit self confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance while wearing a complete, wrinkle free, designated uniform and name tag.
  • Complete pre-service and end of shift side work including cleaning and closing responsibilities.
  • Work cooperatively with dishwashers ensuring dirty dishes are handled to protocol.
  • Ensure work is inspected by management prior to departing.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude when speaking about guests and fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous food service experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Prior serving or bussing food service experience in a full service restaurant preferred.
  • Must have or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
