Founding Context Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

What You Will Do

• Build the foundational Context Management API that supports AI systems with structured context across workflows.
• Develop new data access patterns, designing semantic query interfaces that replace traditional SQL for AI agents.
• Architect self-healing data models that automatically adapt and improve based on real-world usage and feedback.
• Create a semantic modeling infrastructure that empowers users to enhance their data models without needing extensive expertise.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3+ years of experience building production systems with a focus on backend engineering.
• Proven expertise in retrieval systems, embeddings, vector databases, LLMs, or knowledge graphs.
• Strong production machine learning experience, including monitoring, versioning, and evaluation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept to production, owning meaningful systems end-to-end.

Preferred

• Familiarity with enterprise data systems such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Salesforce.
• Experience with multi-agent systems or workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
• Knowledge of real-time data pipelines and streaming architectures.

Compensation and Benefits

$140K–$220K base salary, with potential equity options, providing a competitive package for top-tier talent looking to make a significant impact.
