ARO.AI is being built by KC Overseas Education, a company that has run international education operations across 30+ countries for over 28 years. We are now building the AI layer on top of all that experience.

We are building an AI-powered CRM for study abroad consultants, universities and higher education institutions. Most of this industry still runs admissions and counselling on spreadsheets and CRMs that were never built for this workflow. We are changing that.

This isn't a cold start. You are selling into a space where KC Overseas already has real relationships and real credibility.

🎯 Role: Founding Business Development Manager

Full-time, based out of Nagpur. You will own revenue end-to-end, work directly with the founders on deal strategy, and your feedback will actually shape the product. This is a build role, not a role where you just execute a playbook someone else wrote.

You're not selling "another CRM." You're selling a category upgrade from manual admissions chaos to an AI-native operating system to Study Abroad Consultants, Universities, and Higher Education Institutions.

🛠️ What you will actually be doing

• Closing deals between ₹10L to ₹75L, with the ceiling moving to ₹1Cr plus as we start going after bigger institutions
• Running the full cycle yourself, from outbound to discovery to demo to negotiation to closing
• Bringing in new business from study abroad consultants, universities and higher education institutions
• Doing discovery that actually digs into how a prospect runs admissions today, not just noting down surface level pain points
• Keeping your CRM pipeline honest, no inflated numbers, no deals that aren't real
• Sitting close enough with Product and Customer Success that you're actually influencing what gets built next

🧩 Who we want

• 4 to 8 years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally CRM, ERP, Admissions, EdTech, HRTech or workflow automation
• Have personally closed deals of ₹10L or more, this is a must, not a nice to have. Come with 3 references who can vouch for this
• Comfortable running longer sales cycles with multiple people involved in the decision, not used to quick transactional selling
• Can hold a conversation with leadership at an institution, not just talk to whoever picks up the phone
• You build your own pipeline. You don't wait around for leads to land in your inbox
• Actually wants to build something here, not just hit a number every quarter

Qualifications

• 4+ years of real B2B SaaS sales experience, including presenting and pitching directly
• Strong at account management and holding on to long-term client relationships
• Can generate leads and open new business on your own
• Comfortable owning the sales process end to end
• Good communicator, good negotiator
• Fine with ambiguity; this is still an early-stage setup
• Knows tools like Apollo or Clay, or something similar
• Engineering degree, or an MBA, or someone who has tried building something of their own before
