Title of Role: Founding Account Executive
Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site, Union Square, 5 days/week)
Company Stage of Funding: Seed (YC-backed, ~$5.2M raised)

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 + Equity (0.10% – 1.00%)
Our client is a high-growth B2B AI startup building an AI-powered outbound and sales workflow platform for modern sales teams. The company helps businesses design, launch, and scale outbound systems using AI-driven tools that improve pipeline generation and conversion rates.
The company has experienced exceptional early traction, scaling from $0 to $1M ARR in just 8 weeks, making it one of the fastest-growing early-stage B2B startups in San Francisco. Backed by Y Combinator and ~$5M+ in funding, the company is rapidly expanding its customer base and refining its product through direct customer interaction.
With a small founding team of ~5 people, this is a rare opportunity to join as a foundational GTM hire and directly shape both the customer experience and the future of the sales motion.
What You Will Do
- Own onboarding and activation for ~200+ customers using the platform
- Help customers build their first outbound workflows and reach “aha moment” quickly
- Run weekly or biweekly 15-minute customer check-ins to troubleshoot and advise
- Act as a trusted outbound sales advisor and GTM expert for customers
- Provide hands-on guidance on outbound strategy (sequences, targeting, messaging, etc.)
- Close deals over time as role expands into full-cycle sales ownership
- Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights directly into product roadmap
- Help define and refine playbooks for scalable customer success and GTM motion
- Build deep, trust-based relationships with early users and power customers
- Work directly with founders to iterate on product and GTM strategy
Ideal Candidate Background
- 1–5 years of experience in sales, customer success, or GTM roles
- Experience at a fast-moving Seed–Series B startup strongly preferred
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence B2B customers
- Comfortable in high-volume, fast-paced customer-facing environments
- Strong understanding of outbound sales, lead generation, or SDR/AE workflows
- Experience working closely with early-stage products or startups
- Highly execution-oriented with strong bias toward action
- Comfortable working in-person in a high-intensity environment
Preferred
- Experience in outbound sales tools, sales automation, or PLG SaaS products
- Previous SDR, AE, or founding GTM role experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- High EQ, natural communicator, and customer-obsessed mindset
- Experience working directly with founders or early-stage teams
- Exposure to AI-driven sales tools or automation platforms
- Experience at high-growth startups with rapid iteration cycles
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000 – $150,000
- Equity: 0.10% – 1.00% (founding-level upside)
- Visa sponsorship not available
