Founding Account Executive

What You Will Do

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, targeting business banking customers and decision-makers.
• Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with businesses that can benefit from a high-yield banking platform.
• Build and refine outreach strategies, messaging, and sales processes as an early sales hire.
• Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams to shape the go-to-market strategy.
• Develop expertise in the product and the competitive landscape to communicate value effectively.
• Provide field feedback to inform product development and positioning.
• Establish and track key sales metrics to measure progress and optimize performance.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–5 years of experience in a full-cycle closing sales role, preferably in fintech, financial services, or B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with limited structure and a high degree of ownership.
• Strong communicator with the ability to build trust quickly with business owners and finance leaders.
• Self-starter mentality with the capability to build pipeline from scratch.

Preferred

• Experience selling financial products or services to business customers.
• Familiarity with the business banking or treasury management space.
• Prior experience at a startup or as an early sales hire building a function from the ground up.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 annually. You will have the opportunity to be a foundational member of a high-growth fintech company and work closely with the founders, providing meaningful input into the company’s direction.
