The Company:
David creates tools to help people build muscle and lose fat. Our first products are protein bars, and we’re building a platform for high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.
This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout CPG brand at a pivotal stage of growth and work directly with the CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR.
The Role:
The Founder’s Associate supports high-priority initiatives and incubates new projects, explores new opportunities, and plants the seeds for the next generation of brands, products, and innovations at David.
We’re looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial generalist who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and brings a sense of ownership.
What You’ll Do:
- Work directly with the CEO on special projects, including exploring new products and markets
- Run experiments, test products, and assess viability quickly
- Take ownership of projects from concept to launch, working across product, supply chain, and go-to-market
- Scale validated concepts into a potential new brand or business line
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
- Proven ability to lead projects independently
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and switching between high-level thinking and hands-on work
- Self-starting attitude with a love for executing on ideas and moving quickly
- Low ego, high self-awareness, and eagerness to learn
- Thinking from first principles and focuses on what works
- Desire to help build an early-stage CPG company

- Salary: $110-140K per year, inclusive of cash bonus based on attainment of company targets
