Robots couldn't handle soft materials. We fixed that.

Now we're scaling it into reality - and scaling a deep tech company means the founders can't be everywhere at once. We need someone who can close that gap.

At sewts, we build the intelligence that lets robots manipulate deformable materials like textiles, towels, cables with human-like precision. Our systems are already deployed in production across Europe and the US.

We are building a foundational technology stack called sewts.JUPITER. JUPITER uses genAI to realistically simulate the behaviour of deformable and soft objects, creating the computer vision models and grabbing strategies behind our machines.

This is where strategy meets execution. And at this stage, nothing runs on autopilot.

Reality Check

This isn't a role with a fixed job description. Priorities shift, the founders will need different things in different weeks, and you'll often be figuring out the right approach as you go.

If you want a clearly scoped role with predictable days, this is not it. If you want to sit next to the people making the calls and help them make better ones — welcome to sewts.

What You'll Actually Do

• Work directly with and support the C-level - both on strategic matters and in day-to-day business
• Own selected fundraising workstreams and support in others - from preparation through due diligence
• Prepare and structure board materials, investor updates, and key decision documents
• Drive cross-functional projects that don't have an obvious owner - from pricing to market entry analysis
• Build and maintain business plans and financial models that hold up under investor scrutiny
• Act as a sparring partner for the founders - turning ambiguity into a clear next step

Dein Profil

Who You Are

• Experience in management consulting or some high-ownership / structure-first environment
• Ideally, experience in a (Deep) Tech Scaleup
• A proactive, self-driven working style - and a genuine passion for making things happen (a “Macher:in” mentality)
• Strong analytical and structuring skills; comfortable building a model or a deck from a blank page
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities
• Ambitious to reach Chief of Staff position and join our C-Level

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to fundraising, M&A, or corporate finance
• Interest in robotics, physical AI, or hardware-enabled businesses
