The Role
You'll work directly with the founding team on investor and partnership development, translating technical excellence into capital and strategic relationships. One day you're building a fundraising narrative; the next you're on a call with an LP or drafting a partnership brief. Fast-moving, high-stakes, high-ownership.
This role is fully onsite in Mechelen, Belgium
What You'll Do
Fundraising & Investor Relations
Build and maintain investor materials: pitch decks, data rooms, financial summaries, Q&A briefs
Map and research target investors, strategic partners, and sovereign/defence funds
Manage outreach, pipeline tracking, and CRM discipline
Draft investor communications and support due diligence requests
Monitor market developments, comparable transactions, and relevant investor activity
Strategic & Commercial Support
Develop proposals and capability documents for defence clients and government stakeholders
Research market entry, competitive positioning, and partnership opportunities
Support commercial milestones: demos, trials, strategic meetings
Shape narrative for press, policy, and partnership audiences
Who You Are
Background in VC, investment banking, strategy consulting, or early-stage startups
Strong writer, equally at home in an investor memo and a defence brief
Analytically sharp; you structure arguments and back them with data
High ownership, low ego; you execute without hand-holding
Energised by ambiguity and 0 to 1 problems
Bonus: fundraising or M&A experience; defence, maritime, or deep tech exposure; multiple European languages
