Job Description

The Foundation Specialist 2 manages projects including fundraising events and campaigns for the OLOLRMC Foundation with minimal supervision. This position is the second level of three in the Foundation Specialist progression. This position recruits, trains and oversees large groups of volunteers for major Foundation events. Trains new Foundation team members and mentors existing team members. Maintains donor confidentiality.

  1. Administrative and Community Relations
    1. Assists, with minimal supervision, the Director in the implementation of all OLOLRMC Foundation fundraising campaigns and events.
    2. Develops positive relationships with OLOLRMC Foundation partners, vendors, volunteers and employees. Works independently with minimal supervision.
    3. Assists department Director in establishing and adhering to Foundation fundraising campaign events and general event budgets, works with confidential donor information.
    4. Represents OLOLRMC Foundation in a professional and respectful manner.
    5. Maintains strong relationships with existing OLOLRMC Foundation partners and assists the Director in recruiting new partners with the goal of increasing fundraising on an annual basis.
    6. Recruits, trains and oversees large groups of volunteers for major Foundation events.
    7. Trains new Foundation team members and mentors existing team members.

  • 3 years related experience (event planning, marketing)
  • Bachelor's Degree
