Forwarding Management Professional Italy (Pantigliate) - CEVA Air & Ocean Italy S.P.A.

CEVA Air & Ocean Italy S.P.A., a leading company within the logistics industry, is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Ocean Operations team as a Forwarding Management Professional based in Milano/Pantigliate, Strada Vecchia Paullese. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and growth of our Ocean division within the logistics sector, handling both air and ocean freight under the Logistics - Air and Ocean SBU.

About the Role

As a Forwarding Management Professional, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing forwarding operations to ensure seamless transport of goods. You will be responsible for overseeing shipments, managing customer relationships, and liaising with various stakeholders to guarantee timely and compliant delivery solutions. You will work in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, supporting CEVA’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end forwarding operations within the Ocean division, ensuring efficient coordination of shipments and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams and customers to provide tailored forwarding solutions aligned with client needs and company standards.
  • Oversee documentation processes, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Continuously monitor shipment progress, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues impacting delivery timelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and other logistics partners to optimize service performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by providing insights from operational data and industry trends.
  • Work within CEVA’s organisational frameworks and actively contribute to the Ocean Operations unit’s strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional with a solid background in freight forwarding and logistics, particularly within the ocean freight sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex shipping operations while demonstrating attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

  • Significant experience in air and ocean freight forwarding, with strong knowledge of logistics processes and maritime transport regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including customers, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Strong organisational and documentation management skills to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is essential to operate effectively within the local and international context.
