The financial services division works directly with major institutions, deploying these platforms in real-world environments to address critical challenges around risk, compliance, fraud, operations, and investment intelligence.
What You Will Do
- Deploy and configure data integration and analytics platforms within complex financial services environments.
- Write production-quality code to build custom workflows, pipelines, and data models tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders, including analysts, engineers, and executives, to understand problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions in fast-moving, ambiguous situations.
- Identify patterns across client engagements and contribute improvements back to the core product.
- Act as a technical lead on client-facing projects, managing both the engineering work and the relationship.
- Travel to client sites as needed to support deployments and ongoing engagements.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 1–4 years of software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production software.
- Strong foundation in software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Demonstrated ability to work across the full stack or own a significant component end-to-end.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets and an understanding of data modeling concepts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively under ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a forward-deployed, consulting, or client-facing engineering capacity.
- Familiarity with financial services concepts such as risk management, trading, compliance, or fraud detection.
- Exposure to Python, Java, or similar languages commonly used in data-intensive environments.
Compensation and Benefits
