Job Description

Leidos is seeking a Forward Deployed Logistics Coordinator to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) contract in Hawai’i. This position supports deployed units across the Pacific theater through movement, deployment support, life support, facilities, and host-nation support activities. As the Forward Deployed Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate logistics requirements for forces operating in forward environments, tracking availability of services and resources and resolving issues impacting sustainment and support delivery. You will also provide guidance to a small team of supporting logistics personnel. Success in this role requires strong logistics coordination skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, forward-deployed support environment.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Support deployed units through movement, deployment support, life support, facilities, and host-nation support activities.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements for forces operating in forward environments.
  • Track availability of services and resources affecting deployed operations.
  • Resolve issues impacting sustainment and support delivery.
  • Provide guidance and day-to-day direction to supporting logistics personnel.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics coordination, deployment support, or forward-deployed operations within a DoD, federal, or defense industry environment.
  • Working knowledge of DoD contracting and understanding of FAR, DFARS, military, and government regulations.
  • Experience resolving issues impacting sustainment and support delivery in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access required prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with USPACOM, subordinate Commands, and Pacific/Strategic Partner Nations.
  • Master's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting host-nation support activities or forward-deployed logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with DoD logistics systems, interfaces, sustainment, and deployment activities across the Pacific theater.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $105,300.00 - $190,350.00
