What You Will Do
- Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure that supports software platforms in complex customer environments.
- Embed within customer teams to understand and solve infrastructure challenges on-site.
- Build and manage systems for the ingestion, processing, and analysis of large and complex data sets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in production environments under time pressure.
- Collaborate with software engineers and customer stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable platform delivery.
- Contribute to internal tooling and automation to streamline deployments and reduce operational overhead.
- Document infrastructure configurations and deployment processes to improve repeatability and knowledge sharing.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 1–2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, networking fundamentals, and cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving instincts with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex systems issues independently.
- Clear communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience working in or alongside government, defense, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Exposure to data pipeline infrastructure handling large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
