What You Will Do
- Deploy, configure, and maintain core platform infrastructure in customer environments and hybrid cloud settings.
- Collaborate directly with customers to architect tailored solutions based on their unique data environments.
- Build and enhance internal tooling and automation to improve platform reliability and performance at scale.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues across networking, data pipelines, storage systems, and platform services.
- Partner with product and core engineering teams to share field insights and shape the platform roadmap.
- Strengthen and scale substrate-level components in demanding operational contexts.
- Foster technical relationships with engineering teams at customer organizations.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 2 to 6 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems or infrastructure.
- Strong debugging skills and systems-thinking ability to trace issues across complex technical environments.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, demonstrating clear communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, field-based situations.
Preferred
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises deployment patterns.
- Background in environments with strict security and compliance requirements, such as government or healthcare technology.
