The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work alongside customers and fellow engineers to release working code quickly, covering rollouts, trials and technical meetings while bringing field feedback back into the product. The role suits a generalist who enjoys hands-on building and client-facing work.

What you'll do

• Manage rollouts and proof-of-concept trials, then fix connection problems inside client systems.
• Host technical meetings for client security and IT groups.
• Carry new capabilities and connectors from first design through to release.
• Solve a broad mix of hands-on engineering challenges common to a young, rapidly growing product.
• Convert customer input into product updates and deliver them back to users within a few weeks.
• Move to whichever task matters most each week, since the team does not divide work into fixed areas.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Two to five years of professional engineering work, including releasing software at a high-performing technology firm or an ambitious startup.
• Candidates from a smaller startup are considered when other accomplishments stand out, such as a top internship or a hard technical project.
• Customer-facing engineering experience, such as forward deployed, solutions or sales engineering, or working directly with customers as a founding engineer.
• Working knowledge of Python or TypeScript, or another comparable modern language.
• Solid grounding in computer science, covering system design, data storage and growing systems.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with security, identity or corporate IT environments.
