As we build DeepIP, we are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join us in Paris.

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you take the DeepIP platform and make it work inside the most demanding IP organizations in Europe and the US: top law firms, IP boutiques and corporate IP departments. You scope the problem on site, build the solution, ship it, and bring what you learned back to the product.

You are based in Paris or Munich and report to the Head of Success & Solutions. You travel regularly to client sites.

What you’ll own

• Deploying the DeepIP platform at law firms, IP firms and corporate IP teams, from scoping to go-live
• Building AI automation: LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering, evaluation and quality monitoring on real client data
• Integrating DeepIP into client environments through APIs, connectors, authentication and secure data flows
• Advising clients on where AI creates real operational leverage, and how to measure it
• Turning field learnings into precise inputs for Product and Engineering
• Turning each engagement into reusable components and playbooks

About you

• An IP background: you are a patent engineer or have a similar IP profile, ideally on the software or ML side. Junior is enough
• From school-leaver to 3 years of experience, with an engineering school or equivalent
• Excited about LLMs and AI, and you want to deploy them inside IP firms
• Technical enough to speak with a client’s IT team: APIs, data and security basics
• Drive: you take the lead, set the pace of a project and keep clients moving toward the next milestone
• Client-facing by instinct: you structure ambiguity quickly and are credible in front of senior legal and IP professionals
• An operator mindset: you own outcomes, simplify and ship. You are curious, humble and you learn fast
• Fluent in English, with French and/or German as an additional language

Nice to have

• Consulting or client-facing experience
• Project management experience
• Hands-on LLM or AI projects, and Python
