ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are seeking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), that will drive the adoption of AI across corporate functions such as Finance, Procurement, and HR. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will identify high-value opportunities, design AI-powered solutions, and deliver measurable business impact. You will join a pioneering team shaping the future of AI within the Group. Your mission is to bridge business challenges and AI innovation by delivering practical, scalable, and secure solutions that improve operational efficiency. From opportunity discovery to production deployment, you will own the end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives and ensure they generate tangible value for users and the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases with clear business value,
• Design, prototype, and refine AI solutions using technologies such as AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and Python-based automation,
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cybersecurity, and IT teams to integrate solutions securely within the enterprise ecosystem (SAP, Salesforce, internal applications, APIs),
• Lead solution deployment, user onboarding, and adoption tracking to ensure sustainable business outcomes,
• Document best practices, transfer knowledge to support teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the FDE community,
• Recommend the most effective approach, whether AI-based or traditional automation, with a strong focus on business impact.

Profil

PROFILE

• Bsc or Msc in Engineering or a related filed where you were aimed to use AI tools,
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Product Management, Business Analysis, or similar,
• Fluent in English and French is a plus,
• First experience implementing AI use cases,
• AI skills : AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG architectures
• Technical Skills: Python, SQL, REST APIs, and AI solution development,
• Srong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business value,
• Pragmatic, results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
