Forward Deployed Engineer

What You Will Do

• Embed with customers and internal teams to gather technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications leveraging Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines and processing workflows using Apache Spark.
• Own features end-to-end, from requirements gathering through deployment and iterative improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and customer success teams to ensure high-quality technical outcomes.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers in customer environments, often in fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
• Contribute to internal tooling and platform enhancements based on real-world patterns observed in the field.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 1–5 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python and/or TypeScript.
• Proven experience building end-to-end applications that integrate with real enterprise datasets.
• Comfortable working with large structured and unstructured datasets, with experience in building ETL processes or data workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to ship production systems, moving from problem identification to solution deployment with minimal guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

• Experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing at scale.
• Familiarity with building modern web interfaces using React.
• Background in deploying LLM-backed workflows or machine learning products.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $140K to $250K, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. The company offers a hybrid work environment, fostering collaboration while providing flexibility.
