What You Will Do

• Embed directly with customers to identify their technical challenges and develop scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy custom software features and integrations using Python and React.
• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and the core engineering team, providing feedback to influence the product roadmap.
• Manage the full lifecycle of customer-facing technical projects, from initial scoping and architecture to delivery and iteration.
• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting complex issues to ensure customer success.
• Collaborate with solutions and support engineering teams to share knowledge and refine best practices.
• Document solutions, integration patterns, and technical guides to enhance team efficiency and customer understanding.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 1–4 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping production-quality code.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and experience with React for frontend interfaces.
• Comfortable working directly with customers or stakeholders in a technical capacity, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to debug and extend live, customer-facing systems, with a strong understanding of system behavior in production.
• Thrives in a small, fast-moving team environment, taking ownership and initiative in projects.

Preferred

• Experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and a product-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and a passion for applied AI products that solve real-world problems.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $145,000 to $240,000, commensurate with experience and skills. This company offers a hybrid working arrangement based in San Francisco, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
