Forward Deployed Engineer

Founded by individuals who have firsthand experience in the challenges of scalable Trust and Safety operations, this company is dedicated to making the internet safer by providing advanced tools that empower Trust and Safety teams to effectively protect users and mitigate harm.

What You Will Do

• Embed with enterprise customer teams to implement and configure the platform in their environments, acting as a technical owner throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Write production-quality code across backend and frontend layers, utilizing Python, Django, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
• Diagnose and resolve technical gaps, whether they manifest as bugs, missing features, or last-mile development needs, and communicate these to core product and engineering teams.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions while maintaining context and quality.
• Act as the bridge between customer needs and product development, ensuring alignment and prioritization of features.
• Collaborate with elite customer teams to address real-world challenges and deliver measurable outcomes that enhance user safety.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong coding ability across backend and frontend environments.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical implementation role, successfully embedding with enterprise teams and delivering working software.
• Comfortable navigating complex enterprise relationships while writing code, debugging issues, and communicating technical findings.
• Strong problem-solving instincts with a track record of identifying root causes and routing appropriate solutions.
• Ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while taking ownership of projects.

Preferred

• Experience in Trust & Safety, Integrity, or Fraud domains, with a strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and AI safety systems.
• Previous role as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Engineer at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
