About this Position

• The job purpose is to provide full formulation development service to ensure future requirement of respective business units are reflected in the long-term platform programs.
  

What you´ll do

• APAC LHC New Product Development:
  • Formulation development for APAC Laundry and Home Care new product development (NPD) projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Design, develop, optimize, and validate formulations to meet performance, quality, cost, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish formulation development plans and deliver projects according to agreed timelines.
  • Drive laboratory development, pilot trials, scale-up activities, and manufacturing implementation to ensure successful product launches.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the NPD process, including R&D Processing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and external suppliers, to ensure project alignment and execution.
  • Provide technical leadership during project meetings, identify risks, and drive resolution of technical and operational challenges.
  • Support technology transfer and launch readiness activities to ensure smooth commercialization.
  
• Product Claims & Technical Support:
  • Design and execute testing programs to substantiate product performance claims.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Consumer Insights to translate technical data into consumer-relevant benefits and claim support.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and performance evaluations.
  • Generate technical reports and data packages to support product positioning and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for market feedback, customer inquiries, product troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
  
• Formulation Technology Development:
  • Develop and evaluate innovative formulation technologies, ingredients, and platforms for future Laundry and Home Care products.
  • Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends to strengthen the innovation pipeline.
  • Build technical expertise in formulation science and establish robust understanding of formulation-performance relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement, sustainability advancement, cost optimization, and competitive differentiation.
  
• Deliver Technical Training & Support:
  Develop and conduct comprehensive technical trainings for Supply Chain teams, Sales representatives, and export markets—ensuring consistent, up-to-date knowledge of product features, handling procedures, and application benefits.
  
• Ensure the good practice of lab EHS policy.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s degree with formulation development experience.
  
• Major in chemistry related.
  
• Fluent in both oral and written English (CET-6 or any equal certification).
• Passionate in laundry and homecare industry.
  
• Experience in formulation development.
  
• Familiar with raw material suppliers, claim test agency, ODM/OEM.
  
• Familiar with office software, particularly excel and PPT.
  
• Fast learner.
  
• Entrepreneurship & leadership.
  
• Able to work under pressure.
