
We’re looking for a Forklift/Material Handler - 12hr Night Shift (6:45pm - 7am, 2-2-3) to bring P.R.I.D.E. to our Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics team.

The duties and responsibilities of a Forklift/Material Handler I are to demonstrate the basic safety, equipment, and system procedures required to operate within both Raw Material (RM) and Finished Goods (FG) warehouse environments in a controlled and supervised setting. This position focuses on building foundational skills in forklift operation, material handling, scanning transactions, and warehouse process discipline. Cross-training across RM and FG operations is essential to support operational flexibility and efficiency.
What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?
Safety & Equipment Operation
Complete forklift safety training and obtain certification.
Perform and document daily forklift safety inspections prior to operation.
Demonstrate full understanding and compliance with all PPE requirements and warehouse safety standards.
Follow all warehouse traffic patterns, safe material handling practices, and operational procedures.
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts under supervision while developing proficiency.
Warehouse Operations
Conduct trailer loading and unloading activities as directed.
Perform put-away and storage of raw materials and finished goods into assigned warehouse locations.
Support staging and replenishment of materials to production lines.
Assist with finished goods staging to support shipping operations.
Support raw material returns and proper storage procedures.
System & Inventory Transactions
Learn and execute basic SAP scanning and system transactions.
Verify pallet quantities, product labels, and material identification with guidance.
Follow scanning procedures to support inventory accuracy and traceability.
Cross-Training & Process Knowledge
Develop understanding of both Raw Material and Finished Goods warehouse operations.
Learn about the warehouse layout, storage bins, and material flow processes.
Participate in cross-training activities to support operational flexibility between warehouse areas.
Workplace Organization
Maintain clean and organized work areas in alignment with 5S standards.
Follow established warehouse procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, or process opportunities to supervision.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic computer and communication skills.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment after training.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in multiple warehouse areas as part of cross-training development.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift to 50 or more lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
