The Role: Mergon UK are currently hiring for a Fork Lift Truck Driver for a full time, permanent role.

Hours of Work:

Day Shift Only, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with 1 hour unpaid break/lunch. £14.42 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • To drive and operate a FLT and other machinery
  • Loading and unloading of stock to assigned locations.
  • Assigning finished stock to areas, labelled and quality identified.
  • Daily maintenance on Forklift trucks.
  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly in both internal and external areas.

To be successful in this role, you will likely have:

Experience of working in a similar role and operating a fork-lift truck vehicle.

FLT driving qualifications (Counterbalance is essential to fulfil the role)

Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices

Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others and work as part of a team

Ability to work independently.
