Job Description

Forklift Shop Technician (Mechanical Repairs)

Cincinnati, OH | Onsite
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $23–$25hour (based on experience)

This is NOT a forklift driving job.

This is a hands-on mechanical role where you’ll be repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment in our shop.

If you enjoy working with your hands, turning wrenches, solving mechanical problems, and learning how equipment works — this role is for you.

About Us

Raymond Storage Concepts (RSC) is a leading provider of material handling solutions, serving customers across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. We are an authorized dealer for The Raymond Corporation, a global leader in forklift and warehouse technology.

We support our customers by keeping their equipment running — and that starts with strong technicians.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As a Forklift Shop Technician, you’ll work in our Cincinnati shop repairing and maintaining forklift equipment.

This includes:

  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Performing repairs on forklifts and rental equipment
  • Completing work orders and documenting repairs
  • Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
  • Assisting with loading/unloading equipment as needed
  • Supporting general shop and building maintenance

This role is a great fit if you:

  • Like mechanical work and problem solving
  • Have experience with tools, engines, machines, or equipment
  • Want to build a career as a technician or mechanic

This can be a more entry-level role, but you must have:

  • Basic mechanical skills or experience
  • Comfort working with tools and equipment
  • Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of mechanical or technical experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus
  • Organized, dependable, and safety-minded

(Automotive, diesel, industrial maintenance, small engine, or similar experience transfers very well to this role.)

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No weekends
  • Onsite in our Cincinnati, OH warehouse/shop

Benefits & Perks

  • Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance

  • Fun, competitive, team-oriented culture

Important: This role involves repairing and maintaining forklifts — it is not a forklift operator or warehouse role.
