Level Entry Job Location Chambersburg, PA - Chambersburg, PA 17201 Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day $1,500 Retention Bonus and 80 Hours of Paid Time Off after first 90 days of employment

Receivers: Account for accurate deliveries from outside vendors/suppliers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FOR RECEIVERS

• Actively observe and promote BWISE safety standards

• Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributor.

• Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.

• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around stockroom.

• Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments.

• Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items.

• Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for.

• Contacts seller or distributor to resolve shipment discrepancies.

• Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items as necessary.

• Ensures that stockroom is clean and organized.

• Processes transfers for shipments moving on to another location.

• Maintains records of all received shipments.

• Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database

• Contacts distributor to inquire about shipment delays or problems.

• Reports any major or unresolved shipment delays or problems to management.

• Addresses and answers customer inquiries about pending orders and shipments.

• Other duties, as assigned by Purchasing Supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be capable of standing for entire shift and sit for extended periods of time.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, kneeling and stooping.

• Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold depending on weather.

• Subject to dirt, dust, oil, welding fumes, traffic hazards, and high noise levels in the workplace.

• Operate powered industrial trucks and industrial tractors

PPE REQUIREMENTS

• Steel-toed shoes or composite shoes

• Safety glasses

• Earplugs

• Gloves when handling any material

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be able to read, write, count, communicate by various channels.

• Manufacturing related experience
