Home Delivery Service (HDS) – Acacia Ridge Depot, Brisbane QLD

Brand New Facility | Casual Roles with genuine pathway to Full-Time

HDS has just completed construction of our brand-new Acacia Ridge depot and we’re building the team that will launch and run it. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a major new facility – we’re looking for experienced High Reach Forklift Operators to join us now, ahead of the operation going live in the coming weeks.

In the initial inbound and warehouse set-up phase, you’ll be working across ambient, chiller, and/or freezer areas in a double deep racking environment, receiving and putting away stock ahead of our clients transitioning across. During this period shifts will typically commence at approximately 5:00am. Once the operation goes live, additional shift times will open up as we transition to a 24/7 operation – providing genuine variety and ongoing opportunity for the right people. These are casual positions to begin with, and we’re committed to offering genuine pathways to full-time employment as the depot stabilises and the operation grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate high reach forklift equipment safely and efficiently across ambient, chiller, and/or freezer areas within a double deep racking environment
• Support the inbound receiving and put-away process as the depot is set up and stocked ahead of going live
• Use RF scanning and WMS systems to manage stock movements accurately and in real time
• Adhere to all WHS requirements and safe work procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with the team to help establish a well-run, high-performing depot from day one

You’ll Bring:

• A current LF forklift licence with proven high reach operating experience – essential
• Double deep racking experience – essential, not desirable
• Proficiency with RF scanning and WMS systems – essential
• Comfort working early morning starts – initial shifts will commence at approximately 5:00am
• Flexibility to take on a range of shift times as the operation transitions to 24/7
• A strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and reliable attendance – especially important in a start-up environment
