Shift: Monday – Friday, Days (4:00am-12:30pm), Afternoons (2:30pm-11:00pm)
Starting Rate: $26.75/hr
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Principal Accountabilities

  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklift and high reach truck to move skids/pallets/containers within a temperature-controlled (0-4 Celsius) environment
  • Pick product in warehouse from high racks and load skids/pallets/containers into trucks to be shipped to customers
  • Perform product quality check (e.g., labels, box quantity, wrapping/seals). and record temperature of products during loading process
  • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment and perform machine/equipment operator checks daily
  • Operate a scanner and enter/verify data into computerized systems/database
  • Support production with material handling duties when required
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures and checks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Minimum of 2 years Forklift and High Reach Truck experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment within the past 12 months
  • Able to work in a cold environment (0-4 Celsius)
  • You must be able to push, pull and lift product weighing up to 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior warehouse experience
  • Experience using a computer/SAP
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing/processing
