Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Forklift Operator - Evenings at our New Hope, MNpasta production facility. Forklift Operators are responsible for shipping, storing, receiving inventory and for ensuring that our products are loaded and shipped according to quality and safety standards. This position plays an integral role in ensuring our product is shipped to our customers in great condition and on time. We are offering a salary of $29.35 per hour with additional $0.40 per hour for 2nd Shift (Evenings 3p-11p).

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store products in support of production and shipping schedules
  • Transfer products, pallets, totes, and materials throughout the facility while ensuring accurate inventory transactions using scanners and warehouse systems
  • Support production by supplying WIP materials, moving finished goods from production areas, and replenishing line supplies for upcoming shifts
  • Perform daily forklift inspections, complete safety checklists, and monitor equipment condition to support safe and efficient operations
  • Change labels, enter product information into printers and scanners, and inspect totes and products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by handling scrap materials, operating cardboard compactors, assisting with manual palletizing, and performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience and forklift operating experience
  • Previous experience with scanner equipment
  • CDL license preferred

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Balance, bend, crouch, kneel, stand, stoop, walk, and reach above shoulders for 6+ hours per shift, and work in a dusty, high heat and humid environment for 3+ hours per shift
  • Perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, feel, and operate foot pedals for 8+ hours per shift
  • Lift up-to 50 pounds for 6+ hours per shift
  • Make fine distinctions in sound, distinguish objects and equipment visually, and express or exchange ideas by spoken or written word
