SALARY:  The hourly rate for this role is $20.65 per hour 

SHIFT: 40-hour, every week rotating shifts:

Shift 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Shift 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Shift 3: 10:00pm - 6:00am

Overtime Eligibility: This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws and pursuant with collective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while adhering to all safety, quality, and HACCP standards. handling equipment while adhering to all safety, quality, and HACCP standards.
  • Supply production lines with required materials and ensure smooth flow of packaging operations.
  • Move, store, and load/unload raw materials and finished goods using warehouse equipment and tablet-based inventory systems. based inventory systems.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment such as the can de-palletizer, baler, and stretch wrapper, including basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment in line with 5S and HACCP requirements.
  • Perform routine equipment upkeep, including daily battery checks and general warehouse maintenance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must meet legal drinking age requirements.
  • Able to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights).
  • Able to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification provided).
  • Capable of working at heights, including climbing ladders and stairs.
  • Able to work in environments with noise and vibration while wearing required PPE (safety footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, bump cap, etc.).
  • Basic computer skills or ability to learn warehouse/production systems (e.g., HighJump, MS Office).
  • Willing to follow all Standard Operating Procedures and company safety/quality standards.
