Forklift Operator
This position requires a detailed person that will be responsible for loading, unloading truck trailers and set-up and break down of the racking system. This is a self-directed position requiring the person to read and understand computer printouts to accurately load and unload the trailers to meet the specified deadlines. This can become a pressure situation as the lead times can be short at times due to customer demands. Must be able to work overtime. Prior forklift experience a must.
Schedule:
• 4–10-hour days, Monday – Friday 6:30am-5:00pm (day off during the week will be determined upon hire)
• Overtime available
Qualifications
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use tools such as computers and hand scanners
• Standing: Occasionally
• Walking: Occasionally
• Sitting: Frequently
• Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently
• Must Complete Powered Industrial Truck Training
Salary and Benefits:
• Starting rate $20.00
