Austin Wood Recycling (AWR) is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our growing Production team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting palletized product from the production area to the inventory pad, loading flatbed trucks, and assisting customers as needed. The Forklift Operator will follow the same production schedule as Autoline Operators and is expected to maintain a safe, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport palletized product via forklift from the production area to the inventory pad.
- Load flatbed trucks and assist customers as needed.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and processes related to transporting product within and from the autoline production area.
- Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
- Wear required safety gear at all times, including safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, and gloves.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work up to 60+ hours per week, including Saturdays and overtime as needed.
- Forklift/Spyder experience required; certification required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk for short periods throughout the day.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs and ladders regularly during the workday.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to tolerate dusty work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Bilingual candidates highly preferred.
