Forklift Operator

Pay: $20 - $25/hour DOE

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am- 5pm

Reno Airstream Adventures is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to power our newest, seventh location. As a key player within the world's largest Airstream Exclusive Dealership Group, you'll be instrumental in facilitating seamless operations, enhancing luxury RV experiences, and propelling global exploration to extraordinary heights!

The Forklift Operator is responsible for using a forklift to tow trailers to where they need to be on the lot, in and out of detail, move units in and out of the shop for Technicians, assisting Guest with hitch up and drop off.

Responsibilities:

  • Influence and support Guest purchase decisions, with a focus on timely commitment.
  • Obtain and maintain AANW forklift certification.
  • Complete the daily forklift inspection checklist.
  • Safely move trailers in and out of Technician bays to support production standards.
  • Communicate effectively with Team Members via radio.
  • Transport trailers from intake to designated storage areas.
  • Maneuver trailers safely within confined or restricted spaces.
  • Follow all forklift safety protocols, including using a spotter when required.
  • Uphold dealership standards for quality and service.
  • Inspect units thoroughly and promptly report any damage to the Manager.
  • Assist Guests with trailer hookup and unhooking as needed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the Manager.
  • Cross-train and assist with additional duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years Forklift driving experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Previous experience utilizing tools appropriate to skill level.
  • Previous experience communicating with a variety of people.
  • Awareness, Drive, Ownership, Passion, Execution
  • Good communication skills and ability to with teams
  • Must be able to work a schedule that may include Saturdays and holidays.

The expected pay for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
