Job Description

Ensure that product is picked in a manner that ensures proper rotation of inventory and that the production line is always supplied with enough materials to keep operating. This position is a 12 hour rotating shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Picking all raw material and ingredients for production
  • Pull all materials by the oldest lot code on the pick list first
  • Ensure that all returns to the warehouse are clean, secured, weighed and properly labeled
  • Work with production to ensure that all partial bags are used first
  • Return materials to the proper place in the warehouse/no mixed pallets
  • Ensure that all raw materials in the warehouse are labeled
  • Cycle counting / inventory control
  • Confirm order / product completion & condition
  • Forklift battery changing maintenance
  • Palletizing as needed
  • Lunch and break relief as needed
  • Report all problems immediately to the supervisor
  • Report inventory issues to the inventory control team
  • Maintain all work areas in a clean and sanitary condition
  • Performs all work in a safe, efficient and cooperative manner
  • Perform any other work duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Forklift certification
  • 2+ years of forklift experience
  • On the job training
