Job Identification
This role is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations by performing essential material‑handling tasks, including safe and efficient loading, unloading, and internal movement of goods. The job ensures the safety of personnel, equipment, and inventory, while contributing to smooth workflow and timely order preparation. The employee is required to follow proper stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO), minimize waste, and support overall productivity within both the warehouse and factory environments.
What We Expect
- Full compliance with all occupational health and safety requirements.
- Loading and unloading goods within the specified time and quality standards and scanning the label after coordinating with the direct supervisor.
- Transporting goods from production to warehouses or between warehouses, ensuring proper and safe storage quality.
- Arranging pallets inside warehouses based on FEFO and FIFO principles while efficiently utilizing storage space.
- Ensuring label scanning at the start of production, verifying print quality, and checking that label information matches the product and the required number of pallets to identify the correct storage location.
- Coordinating with the direct supervisor at the beginning of the shift to approve the first produced pallet, and again at the end of production or shift to record the received quantity in the warehouse and verify storage quality.
- Ensuring no ready pallets or returned raw materials remain on the production floor before the end of the shift.
- Organizing warehouses, yards, and the carpentry area.
- Ensuring wheel chocks are placed before starting loading or unloading, and maintaining a minimum 10‑meter safety distance from individuals around the forklift.
- Performing tasks and duties assigned by the direct supervisor or department manager within the employee’s job level.
- Adhering to the company’s internal regulations, with the employee acknowledging review of these regulations before signing the job description.
- Performing a daily forklift inspection (Pre‑Shift Checklist): brakes, lifts, tires, battery/fuel, lighting, alarms.
- Immediately reporting malfunctions and incidents, submitting reports in a timely manner, and suggesting temporary alternative solutions.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work area and forklift, and adhering to designated speed limits and safe loading points.
- Effective communication and teamwork with the team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and driving forklifts and adherence to safety procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse traffic routes and the ability to avoid potential hazards.
- Ability to work with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and company systems for processing system transactions (transfer, receiving, issuing).
- Understanding of storage and rotation systems (FIFO, FEFO) and accurate monitoring of batches/shelf life during order processing.
- Skills in preparing timely reports as required (incidents, breakdowns, productivity, delays).Ability to identify issues before they occur (traffic congestion, shelf overcrowding, barcode/location mismatches).
- Ability to propose temporary alternatives until issues are resolved (route changes, rescheduling, temporary location rearrangement).
- Continuous initiative in improving procedures and commitment to updates.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new systems, regulations, and work changes.
- Basic reading and writing skills in Arabic and English.
