Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to multi task keeping job production flowing throughout the store and production area at all times.
  • Insure work area is a safe environment at all times.
  • Ability to carry out verbal / written material tasks under minimum supervision.
  • Perform daily inspections on loader.
  • Staging vehicles, which includes, transporting the vehicles to and from the staging area.
  • Transport vehicles to and from the drain shop.
  • Check fluids twice daily to ensure proper operation.
  • Use forklift or skit steer while observing all safety regulations.
  • Assists in a complete safe production/store environment for employees and customers.
  • Ensures an environmentally safe environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Marginal Functions:

  • Knowledge and experience in the Auto Dismantling Industry.
  • Prior experience in operating a Loader or similar equipment A +.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:

  • Sitting, walking, bending, stretching are required regularly to perform job function, production, and environmental/safety responsibility functions.
  • Able to sit for 6-8 hours per day in two hour intervals.
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
  • Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions as described above.
  • Good eye hand coordination and good motor skills.

Job Conditions:

  • Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.

Qualifications:

  • Must attend retraining classes annually that meet company standards and expectations.
  • Must successfully complete the Chemical Hazards Training program.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities.
  • Perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • To work flexible shifts and schedules.
  • Use proper safety equipment and safety procedures.
