Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the logistics and material handling processes of our operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include unloading raw materials from delivery trucks, loading trucks with customer order, receive products using scanning and computer systems. Also, ensure products are stored efficiently using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method and assist in delivering materials for production and preparing finished products for customer delivery.

What you will do

    • Operate lift trucks safely and accurately to receive, store, stack, stage, handle, deliver, and ship materials and finished products.
    • Conduct pre-operation safety inspections of the lift truck and complete the checklist prior to use.
    • Participate in cycle counting to ensure accurate location and availability of materials.
    • Understand and execute 5S principles to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Support long haul truck operations and administrative tasks as needed.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.
    • Engage in sound warehouse practices to protect materials from damage and contamination

We believe you have

  • High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a sit‑down forklift.
  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
  • Ability to be trained as an authorized operator; (OSHA standard 29CFR1910.178(1))
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong dependability and reliability.
  • Ability to read and understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes.

Shift schedule

2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday required.
