
We are hiring an experienced counterbalance operator for our client based in Orangeville, ON. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating a counterbalance forklift with excellent communication skills.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MATERIAL ASSOCIATE, MATERIAL HANDLER OR LOADER POSITION
You will operate a counterbalance forklift to pick loose material orders. Must be able to operate the forklift in tight quarters, maneuvering in various locations throughout the 50+ acre site. Loose material includes lumber, panels, hardware, engineered wood products (EWP), and other products as the warehouse manager assigns. This position may also unload incoming trucks and railcars and other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager. This person will be assigned areas of responsibility and is responsible for the neat organization and cleanliness of these areas.
Shift is 12-hour continental with bi-weekly rotation in the morning - night shift.
