JOB SUMMARY
Stage raw materials in racks, and carts for welding operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards.
Obtain specifications for trailer from pull sheets.
Procure raw materials from part racks and place in cart/racks.
Stock raw material after its been processed and accounted for.
Assign locations to parts who do not have one.
Maintain all parts up to date with the latest revision changes.
Keep raw material area clean and organized.
Assist with inventory control which includes cycle counting.
Other duties, as assigned by Dept. Leadership.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be capable of sitting for the majority of shift and stand when required to do so.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, kneeling and stooping.
Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold depending on weather.
Subject to dirt, dust, oil, welding fumes, electric shock, bright lights, UV radiation, burns, traffic hazards, and high noise levels in the workplace.
PPE REQUIREMENTS
Steel-toed shoes or composite shoes
Safety glasses
Earplugs
Gloves when handling any material
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to read, write, count, communicate by various channels.
Must have appropriate high school, or on-the-job training from previous employment.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Must be able to interpret drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
