Job Shift: AnyJob Purpose:
- The Forklift Driver-Loading at MORGAN STEEL LLC is responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries, ensuring that products are transported efficiently and safely within the warehouse. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and materials, supporting the overall operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately record and manage inventory movements using company systems.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for efficient material storage and handling.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the warehouse.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proven track record of safely loading and unloading materials using forklifts.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret loading and unloading instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and tracking purposes.
