Job Description

Who you are

Are you fascinated by the beauty of logistics? Would you like to work in an environment where things are done professionally? Can we rely on you
even in the early hours of the day? If so, you are a good match as a logistic co-worker for our store.
In addition, we expect that you:
• Are in good physical shape and can handle manual labor
• Can prioritize and organize your own and the teams work to make efficient use of time
• Are able to communicate in English and enthusiastic about working in a team
• Have a Danish forklift license - or willing to acquire one.

What you'll be doing day to day

In IKEA Logistics, we are responsible not just for receiving goods each day, but unloading the trucks, replenishing them in the store using forklifts,
powered stackers and pallet lifters, ensuring that IKEA is ready by 10AM sharp when the store opens. After 10AM, when replenishment is done,
we’re picking and then packing the goods for our customer delivery and hand-out. As a logistics co-worker you play an important role in IKEA's
sales figures and customers, as the department makes sure that customers never go in vain when it comes to buying furniture for their home.
Everyday life is always busy, as we work with a sharp deadline.

Your tasks will be:

• Loading goods into the warehouse by driving reach truck and powered stacker
• Working together and following up with colleagues to keep the store fully stocked
• Goods receiving and handling, as well as updating IT systems accordingly
• Proactively securing the safety of your colleagues and our customers in your working area
• Goods replenishment and picks for our customers
• Clean up and maintaining the department and machines.

Together as a team

You can become part of an international team of both fulltime and part-time employees that work towards a common goal. We secure an efficient
replenishment of the store and provide good customer service, even though we do not have direct customer contact. We work closely together with
all departments and consequently gain experience in collaborating with many different types of people. We work in a fast-paced environment but
always support each other and work as a team. Therefore, there is room for you to be exactly who you are. We will ensure all necessary and
correct trainings, so you will feel safe and competent in the job. At IKEA you have endless possibilities to grow!
