Outbox Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established warehouse and distribution business looking to add an experienced Forklift Driver to its growing team.

This is a permanent opportunity offering stable hours, long-term job security, and a varied warehouse role.

What You’ll Earn

• £27,560–£29,120 per year
• £530–£560 per week
• Permanent employment

• On-site parking
• Full-time hours

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 10:30am – 7:00pm
• Occasional holiday cover for alternative shifts when required

The Role

You’ll be responsible for keeping the warehouse running efficiently by:

• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• Moving oversized pallets
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Reading and creating orders accurately
• Moving vehicles around the yard for loading
• Keeping the warehouse and yard clean and organised
• Carrying out manual handling when required
• Completing daily equipment checks
• Following all health and safety procedures

What You’ll Need

• Valid Forklift Licence (essential)
• At least 2 years’ warehouse experience
• Good attention to detail
• Strong reading and numeracy skills
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Desirable Experience

• Counterbalance forklift experience
• Experience moving HGV vehicles around a yard
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts when required
