We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join Stannah, based at Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne.
This job will involve a mix of warehouse and forklift operations, including loading/unloading lorries, picking and scanning orders, and ensuring dispatch accuracy. You'll play a key role in meeting daily operational targets, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
As the Warehouse/Operative/Forklift Driver, you will work Monday to Thursday 06:15 to 16:00. This job is a permanent contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, proactive, and keen to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience in loading/unloading lorries using a forklift truck and hold a valid forklift licence. Experience in using barcode scanning equipment and working in a warehouse environment would be desirable.
Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver Responsibilities:
Load and unload lorries using forklift equipment
Pick and scan customer orders using barcode devices
Accurately check and pack contracts for dispatch
Operate both Counterbalance and Aisle Master forklifts
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocol

Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver Requirements:
Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Aisle Master)- Essential
Experience in loading/unloading lorries with a forklift
Familiarity with barcode scanning equipment
Strong understanding of health and safety practices
Ability to manage workload and meet daily targets
