Warehouse Jobs in Newburn at Stannah – Join Our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join Stannah, based at Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne.

This job will involve a mix of warehouse and forklift operations, including loading/unloading lorries, picking and scanning orders, and ensuring dispatch accuracy. You'll play a key role in meeting daily operational targets, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

As the Warehouse/Operative/Forklift Driver, you will work Monday to Thursday 06:15 to 16:00. This job is a permanent contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, proactive, and keen to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience in loading/unloading lorries using a forklift truck and hold a valid forklift licence. Experience in using barcode scanning equipment and working in a warehouse environment would be desirable.

Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload lorries using forklift equipment

  • Pick and scan customer orders using barcode devices

  • Accurately check and pack contracts for dispatch

  • Operate both Counterbalance and Aisle Master forklifts

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocol

Qualifications

Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Aisle Master)- Essential

  • Experience in loading/unloading lorries with a forklift

  • Familiarity with barcode scanning equipment

  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices

  • Ability to manage workload and meet daily targets
