Forklift Driver
Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Forklift Driver to join our newly constructed Warehouse Logistics Center. This role is essential to the daily flow of warehouse operations and requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for various distribution center functions. Including one or more of the following: receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping. Safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork are key to success in role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform daily distribution center functions including receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping goods.
Transport, stage, and store products safely and efficiently.
Ensure quality, accuracy, and productivity goals are consistently met.
Pull, prepare, and complete shipping orders using RF scanners, paperwork, and packaging processes.
Enter data, scan goods, and maintain accurate inventory counts.
Build shipping boxes based on product size, weight, and contents.
Create shipping labels and documentation for multiple carriers, including international waybills when required.
Use various computer systems to consolidate orders, generate invoices, and produce shipping labels.
Receive, inspect and stock incoming materials independently or collaboratively.
Complete required forklift training and operate Sit-Down, Reach, and Big Joe forklifts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
What You’ll Need:
1-3 years of relevant work experience, entry-level candidates from different professional backgrounds are welcome to apply
Previous warehouse or logistics (forklift) experience is an advantage, but not required
Ability to perform basic end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets and scanners)
Proficient reading, writing, and comprehensive of English/Hungarian language
Physical fitness, the position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time. Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 22kg) is required
Ability to collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to achieve group performance and quality standards
Commitment to excellent performance by adhering to high productivity and quality standards
Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures
Reliable personality, able to report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime hour
