Join our team as a Fork Truck Repairer! This is a 1st-shift position, but you must be flexible and willing to work any shift as needed.

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic malfunctions using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, batteries, chargers, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electric, propane, gasoline, and diesel-powered forklifts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and inspection records.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime.
• Order and maintain appropriate inventory of replacement parts and supplies.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and minor machining work as needed for equipment repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely during testing and inspection processes.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and maintenance personnel to prioritize repair activities.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets OSHA, manufacturer, and company requirements.

Required Qualifications

1. Two or more years of experience repairing forklifts, industrial equipment, automotive equipment, or heavy machinery.
2. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
3. Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
4. Proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment.
5. Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles.
