Join us pool side this summer at The Forest House! The Forest House Pool & Gym Attendant is one the first point of contact for guests and owners at the Forest House. They will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and assisting guests with recreational equipment. The Pool and Gym Attendant will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

The Forest House Pool & Gym Attendant will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. Responsibilities

  • Must maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards all owners and guests
  • Assist with daily cleaning of the pool and spa deck, fitness center, and storage area
  • Cater to the needs and special requests of all owners and guests
  • Over sees safety procedures at the top and bottom of the water slide
  • Must be able to function alone as well as an effective team member.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the Forest House Pool and Fitness Center facility
  • Responsible for care, maintenance and cleanliness of pool area and fitness center and locker rooms. This may include cleaning the men’s and women’s locker rooms including shower stalls, toilets and urinals, mirrors, sinks, counter tops and floors if needed. May also include replacement of towels, toiletry amenities, shower soaps etc.
  • Clean & sanitize exercise equipment.
  • Keep towel inventory folded and available for guests
  • Enforces pool rules in a polite and professional manner

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year customer service experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior pool/spa experience preferred

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must be highly detailed orientated
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates
  • Red Cross/CPR Certified (SRLP will provide training).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance;
  • Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
